1. Heard Mr. Rabindra Kumar Priyadarshi, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. Rajendra Prasad Nat, learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Amour P.S. Case No. 254 of 2024 dated 23.06.2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 353, 504 and 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that in the FIR, 13 known and 15-20 unknown persons have been made accused, though the petitioners are named in the FIR but against them, there is no any specific allegation and they

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.66575 of 2024(2) dt.07-10-2024 2/2 are simply alleged to be members of a mob and further, they are ladies having fair and clean antecedent. Learned counsel further submits that as per the FIR, the accused persons freed one Sudhir Kumar, who is said to be an accused in Armour P.S. Case No. 187/2024, from the custody of the police but the petitioners had no reason to be involved in freeing the said person as the petitioners are simply co-villagers of him.

4. Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer of the petitioners.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case as well as above submissions, this Court is inclined to grant the relief of anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, let the petitioners named-above, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court concerned in connection with Amour P.S. Case No. 254 of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
