The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Baikunthpur P. S. Case No. 178 of 2016 instituted under Sections 341, 323, 498A, 494 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation is of demand and torture in connection with dowry after marriage.

It is submitted that the petitioners are the mother-inlaw, father-in-law and the younger brother of the husband of the informant respectively and there is general and omnibus allegation against them. The specific allegation is only against the husband of the informant, who, two months prior to lodging of this FIR,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6516 of 2017 (2) dt.10-02-2017 2/2 had filed matrimonial suit for divorce.

Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioners, named above, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within four weeks from today, be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj in connection with Baikunthpur P.S.Case No. 178 of 2016; subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
