====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 08-12-2025 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners and learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State.

2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 103, 238, 61(2), and 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023, and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. It is a case of 'dowry death'.

4. The petitioners are the mother-in-law and father-inlaw of the deceased. The allegations against them are general and omnibus in nature. The thrust of the accusation is against the husband of the deceased, who is already in custody since 08.02.2025. The petitioners are separate in mess and property

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.60787 of 2025(4) dt.08-12-2025 2/2 and have no concern with the family affairs of the deceased and her husband.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners is allowed.

7. Accordingly, in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of eight weeks from today, let the above-named petitioners be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Bettiah, West Champaran, in connection with Balthar P.S. Case No. 13 of 2025, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 482(2) of the B.N.S.S.
