The petitioner being the husband of the informant is languishing in custody since 14.10.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, but on conclusion of the investigation charge-sheet has been submitted under Sections 498A and 494 of the Indian Penal Code.
