The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Asarganj P. S. Case No. 60 of 2016 instituted under Sections 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.
The allegation, in brief, is that six bags of rice of Mid-Day-Meal were recovered in front of the house of the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this petitioner runs a small rice mill and the said rice was supplied by the Principal of the concerned school for re-polishing and the Principal has been granted bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 03.03.2017 in Cr. Misc. No. 5228 of 2017 and this petitioner has no any criminal antecedent.

No.6623 of 2017 (3) dt.18-03-2017 2/2 Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, namely, Laxman Sah @ Lakshaman Saw in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within four weeks from today, be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Akhilesh Pandey, S.D.J.M., Munger in connection with Asarganj P.S.Case No. 60 of 2016; subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
