Petitioners and one Garuav Rai are named in the first information report on the accusation that they purchased wine from the shop of the informant and when the informant demanded cost of the aforesaid wine, allegedly, they opened fire. Admittedly, none has sustained firearm injury nor any pellet appears to have been seized from the place of occurrence. Petitioners do carry criminal antecedent of four cases but almost all cases appear to have been registered against the petitioners six to seven years ago.

Accordingly, petitioners are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Addl. Chief Judicial
