For issuance of writ/writs in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to make payment of salary along with other allowances from the date of joining till date.

ii. For directing the respondents to pay interest on the due salary and the allowances as per the

At the outset, the learned counsel for the respondent-State seeks to file a supplementary counter affidavit, which is taken on record. The learned counsel for the respondent-State has referred to paragraph no. 8 of the said supplementary counter affidavit to submit that the outstanding arrears of salary of the petitioner, for the period March, 2022 to November, 2023, has already been paid to him and as far as the payment of salary pertaining to the period of medical leave, i.e. from 01.03.2023 to 18.06.2023 is concerned, the same would also be paid within a period of one week from today.

Having regard to the aforesaid stand taken by the respondent-State in the supplementary counter affidavit filed by the respondent-State today in the Court itself, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents be directed to make payment of the outstanding salary, as aforesaid, within a period of one week from today.
