The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Rajauli P.S. Case No. 114 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Excise Act. The allegation is regarding recovery of 500 litres of illicit liquor from two cars when the same were intercepted by the Police.
It is alleged that the petitioner was seen driving the said vehicle.
The learned counsel for the petitioner, referring to paragraph no. 8 of the present petition, has submitted that the alleged vehicles apprehended by the Police does not belong to the petitioner. It is further submitted that the petitioner has been

Lastly, it is submitted that though the petitioner is accused in three other cases but the same are not under the Excise Act. It is submitted that the petitioner is languishing in custody since 28.11.2018. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.D.J.-II-cum-Special Judge, Nawada in connection with Rajauli P.S. Case No. 114 of 2017.
