The petitioner seeks bail in N.H. Bangra P.S. Case No. 93 of 2014, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 395/412 and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code. The case is registered against unknown for the dacoity of a truck on national highway.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not named in the FIR. The co-accused Md. Taiyab and Md. Eqbal confessed his guilt and disclosed that the looted articles were kept in the shop of the petitioner. It has further been submitted that the petitioner has let out the room to the accused and he had no knowledge about the keeping of looted articles in the house of the petitioner.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.4570 of 2015 (3) dt.24-03-2015 2/2 On perusal of the record, it appears that Md. Taiyab and Md. Eqbal confessed their guilt and disclosed that the looted articles were kept in the shop-cum-house of the petitioner. From the perusal of the seizure list it appears that the looted articles were duly identified by the owner of the articles. Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Jha, J.) KKSINHA/- U T
