The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 354, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that there is no specific allegation of outraging the modesty of the wife of the informant against the petitioner. It is contended that there is a land dispute between the parties. It is stated that surprisingly the statement of the lady, whose modesty was outraged as per allegation, has not been recorded in course of the investigation.
