JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 20-07-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner apprehends arrest in registered for the offences punishable under Section 307 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, petitioner assaulted the informant with knife as a result of which he sustained grievous injury.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the incident took place due to property dispute and the FIR was lodged after delay of 13 days and there is no plausible explanation of delay.

Considering the specific allegation against the petitioner of inflicting knife injury to the informant, his prayer for bail is refused with direction to surrender and seek regular bail which would be considered and disposed of on its own
