1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioners have preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Pipra Kothi P.S. Case no.51 of 2023 registered under sections 341, 323, 327, 329, 386, 504, 506, 308 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, while the informant and others were sprinkling pesticides in his mango orchard, it is stated that the accused persons including the petitioners herein abused, demanded Rs.20 lakhs as extortion and thereafter tried to throttle the neck of the informant and the labourers.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in the case for the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.73759 of 2023(2) dt.29-11-2023 2/2 reasons of land dispute between the parties. The allegations are general and omnibus in nature. No injury has been referred to in the F.I.R. The petitioners are in custody since 22.5.2023 and charge-sheet has been submitted in the case.

5. Heard learned A.P.P for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation in the F.I.R, the petitioners being in custody for more than 6 months since 22.5.2023 and charge-sheet having been submitted in the case, both the petitioners are directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Pipra Kothi P.S. Case no.51 of 2023 on each of them furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, East Champaran at Motihari.
