2. The petitioners have preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Tikapatti P.S. Case No. 116 of 2022 dated 02.10.2022 registered for the offences punishable u/ss 147, 341, 323, 307, 354B, 379, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioners and the co-accused persons in connivance with one another came and started assaulting the informant and his family members. The petitioner Chano Singh assaulted on the head of the informant's
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.65076 of 2023(2) dt.13-10-2023 2/3 husband with an axe and the co-accused Meena Devi also snatched golden chains from the neck of Anjali Devi and Rabin. Thereafter, the accused persons pushed the informant on the ground by catching hold her hair and outraged her modesty.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in this case. There is case and counter case between the parties. As per injury report of the injured persons, the opinion regarding injuries of Sujit Singh and Jitan Singh is kept reserved and the injury report of other injured persons are stated to be simple in nature as stated in the impugned order. The petitioners have clean antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioners are in custody since 21.04.2023.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition of the petitioners.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioners above-named, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Purnea in connection with Tikapatti P.S. Case No. 116 of 2022.
