The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sandesh P.S. Case No. 165 of 2019 for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a), 37(b) (c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 52 liters of illicit liquor from the house of the petitioner. A bare perusal of the bail petition discloses that the petitioner is alleged to have been falsely implicated in the present case. It appears that the petitioner is accused in two other cases, however, he is on bail in the said both cases. The petitioner is languishing in custody since 22.07.2019.

Case No. 165 of 2019.
