2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jankinagar P.S. Case No. 107 of 2021 registered for the offences punishable under Sections, 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and section 30(a), 41,47 of the Bihar Prohibition& Excise Amendment Act.
3. The recovery is of 294.720 liters illicit liquor from the vehicle.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and he is in custody since 22.04.2025.
5. The learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
6. Considering the fact and circumstances of the case
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.65935 of 2025(2) dt.24-09-2025 2/2 and submissions of the parties, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- (ten thousand)with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/ successor court in connection with Jankinagar P.S. Case No. 107 of 2021.
7. This is also subject to the condition that the petitioner shall deposit an amount of Rs. 25,000/- in Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Swami, Vivekananda Path, Bela, Muzaffarpur, Bihar and produced the receipt of the same before the court below. The bail bonds of the petitioner shall be accepted after verifying the genuineness of the receipt produced by the petitioner.
8. As a condition of this order, the petitioner after being released on bail is directed to mark his attendance at Barhara Police Station on every Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the police station will result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner. (Sandeep Kumar, J) N.K/- U T
