2. The present application has been filed for modification of the order dated 24.01.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 2901 of 2025 by which the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail in connection with Saharsa Sadar P.S. Case No. 884 of 2024 and the petitioner was directed to surrender in the Court below within a period of six weeks from the date of the aforesaid order 24.01.2025.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a poor person and fell ill. He does not know the norms of law properly and he could not furnish the bail bonds

He further submits that the petitioner is the resident of Katihar district and the case is in Saharsa district. He further submits that the petitioner lives outside for livelihood. Learned counsel for the petitioner accordingly prays that further time may be extended so that the petitioner could surrender in the Court below.

4. This Court finds that the petitioner was granted privilege of anticipatory bail by this Court vide order dated 24.01.2025 but, the petitioner did not surrender before the learned court within the stipulated time-period prescribed in the aforesaid order dated 24.01.2025.

5. Having heard learned counsel for the parties, this Court does not find sufficient ground for allowing the present modification petition.

6. Accordingly, the present modification petition stands dismissed with a direction to the petitioner to surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from today and seek regular bail.
