The petitioner being the husband of the informant is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 307, 120B of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. The basic accusation is of torture for nonfulfillment of the dowry demand and putting the informant on fire.

In pursuance to the notices being issued the petitioner and the informant are present. The informant has been defaced due to the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.44598 of 2014 (03) dt.26-02-2015 2/2 burnt injuries. The informant is still ready to reconcile the issue, but the offer is not acceptable to the petitioner. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the informant made attempt to commit suicide as a result she received burnt injuries, consequently the petitioner spent huge amount of money on her medical treatment, but now he is not ready to keep her since he is apprehensive due to past conduct of the informant.

Consider the nature of accusation, let the learned court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner, if the petitioner surrenders before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today in connection with Sarairanjan P.S. Case No. 215 of 2013 pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Samastipur. With the aforesaid observation, this application is disposed of.
