4. This Court, vide order dated 19-09-2025, had called for a report from the Court below regarding the present stage of the trial. Pursuant thereto, the learned Special Judge, POCSO Act-cum-District and Additional Sessions Judge-VI, Khagaria, has furnished a report vide Letter No. 160/2025 dated 13.10.2025, stating therein that out of the eight charge-sheeted witnesses, seven prosecution witnesses have already been examined and only the Investigating Officer remains to be examined. The report further reveals that the estimated time for conclusion of the trial is within six months.

5. Having regard to the fact that the victim is a minor girl aged about 16 years, and the allegations against the petitioner stand prima facie corroborated by her statement recorded under Section 164 CrPC as well as the statement of the Trial Court that the proceedings are likely to conclude within six months, this Court does not find it a fit case to extend the privilege of bail to the petitioner at this stage.
