The petitioner is languishing in custody since 03.02.2015 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20(B), 23 and 25 of NDPS Act.

From the grocery shop of the petitioner 3.5 kgs. Ganja were recovered.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the shop in question is a joint family property. Moreover, the weight has been assessed on speculative basis and the investigation has already concluded.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18722 of 2015 (2) dt.07-07-2015 2/2 Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Madhubani in connection with Laukahi P.S. Case No. 180 of 2014. Since the petitioner is accused in two other cases of similar nature, the learned court below will be at liberty to cancel the bail bonds of the petitioner, if he defaults for two consecutive occasions.
