It was informed earlier to this Court that all the dues of the husband of the petitioner has since been paid to the petitioner except the amount of GPF pertaining to deductions made for the period from April, 1978 to August, 1980, details of which were not available and the husband of the petitioner himself being the Drawing and Disbursing Officer at that time, the details could only be obtained from the Treasury Officer,

A show cause has been filed on behalf of the opposite party no. 8, the Treasury Officer, Ranchi in which it is stated that after hectic efforts being made in the Treasury Office and in the Office of the Civil Surgeon-cum- Chief Medical Officer, Ranchi, no record could be found nor any evidence located regarding the husband of the petitioner having withdrawn his salary from Ranchi Treasury nor any evidence could be found relating to deduction of GPF amount from the Ranchi Treasury Office. A copy of the show cause filed on behalf of the opposite party no. 8 was served upon learned counsel for the petitioner on 28.9.2015 but the facts stated therein have not been controverted or replied to.

In the aforesaid circumstances, the contempt proceedings against the opposite party nos. 2,5 and 6 are dropped. The contempt application is, accordingly, disposed of.
