This is an application for grant of regular bail filed by the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody in connection with Vijaipur PS Case No. 216 of 2018 for the alleged offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Referring to the prosecution case he submits that in the instant case 412 liters of liquor was recovered. He submits that petitioner was neither the driver nor the owner of the vehicle. He has no concern with the vehicle nor the liquor seized in the instant case. Considering the fact that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 25.11.2018, this

Accordingly, let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge, Excise, Gopalganj in connection with Vijaipur PS Case No. 216 of 2018.
