A supplementary counter affidavit is filed today on behalf of Respondent No. 7 in which it is stated that after obtaining opinion of the Medical Board constituted under the Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Medical Officer, Saran, Chapra and the

Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.438 of 2015 (5) dt.10-08-2015 2/2 finding being given that the girl was 19-20 years old, the Child Welfare Committee, West Champaran, Bettiah took a decision that the girl, Babita Kumari being major, it was beyond the jurisdiction of the Child Welfare Committee and, accordingly, directed that she be released from the Children Home (Girls) Chapra and allowed to go with parents or her husband as she may wish. The girl Babita Kumari expressed her desire that she wanted to go with her husband Kisan Kumar which is stated to be alias name of the petitioner, Krishna Yadav.

In the aforesaid circumstances, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed.

The writ application is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous.
