JUSTICE NAVANITI PRASAD SINGH ORAL ORDER 11-06-2015 The petitioner, who is a young boy in schooling of Engineer in Chennai, apprehends his arrest in relation to Govind Ganj P.S. Case No. 42 of 2014 registered under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 326, 438 and 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Subsequently Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code was added. The First Information Report alleges that the informant's sister, having become a young widow, was being tortured by her in-laws to grab the properties in the share of her late husband. After pouring kerosene, she was put on fire. The informant reached there and tried to save her. He also got burn injury. They were taken to hospital where the lady died. Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18281 of 2015 (2) dt.11-06-2015 2/2 was in college in Chennai. It is only out of vengeance that he has been named along with all other family members. He submits that whatever may be between the elders and the family, it has no concern.
Considering the young age and career subject to petitioner cooperating the police in investigation, in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within four weeks from today, let the petitioner, namely, Saurabh Kumar alias Saurabh Kumar Verma be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Motihari, East Champaran in connection with Govindganj P.S.
