2. The present Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent authorities for consideration of compassionate appointment of petitioner no.2 in any post in accordance with law in the interest of justice.

3. Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have filed a series of representations before the Superintendent of Police, Motihari for redressal of their

Patna High Court CWJC No.15004 of 2024(2) dt.07-10-2024 2/2 grievances (contained in Annexure -P2 series to the Writ Petition), but no decision has been taken on the representations till date.

4. Learned Counsel for the State submits that a direction may be given to the authority concerned to pass an appropriate order on the representation filed by the petitioners.

5. In this view of the matter, respondent No.4, namely, the Superintendent of Police, Motihari is directed to take a decision on the representations filed by the petitioners (Annexure P/2 series to the Writ Petition) within 90 days from the date of production of a copy of this order.

6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed off.
