Petitioner in the present case is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Mufassil P.S. Case No. 213 of 2019 registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a), 30(d) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016 and 2(E)/3/(B)/18 of the Bihar Excise of Mahua Flower Rule, 2006. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent, has committed no offence and has falsely been implicated in this case.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, wherein the allegation is that the 8 bottles of foreign liquor and
