The present writ petition has been filed for payment of compensation amount to the petitioner with regard to the land bearing Khata No. 8, Plot No. 19 measuring 1 Katha situated in Mauza Ramchak, Thana No. 118, P.S. Gaurichak, District Patna which has been acquired for the purpose of a Government project meant for the solid waste management under the name and style of "Thosh Awashisth Prabandhan Nirman".
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the aforesaid land of the petitioner has been acquired by the respondents but compensation for the same has not been paid to the petitioner. An application dated 22.07.2010 (Annexure-4) for payment of
Patna High Court CWJC No.21956 of 2014 dt.12-10-2017 2/2 compensation has been filed before the District Land Acquisition Officer, Patna which is however still pending.
4. Learned counsel for the respondents appears and has been heard.
5. Having regard to the nature of the prayer of the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the District Land Acquisition Officer, Patna (respondent no. 3) to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application dated 22.07.2010 (Annexure-4), if still pending, on its own merit and in accordance with law after grant of opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this judgment.
