A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the State stating that unfortunately the concerned records are missing. Learned counsel for the State submits that action is required to be taken in this matter as even after search out by the committee constituted for the purpose the records could not be traced. At the same time, it is also submitted that action has already been taken on the application of the petitioner a copy of which has been appended with this writ petition and the matter has been sent for police verification.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the issue of grant of licence to the petitioner for N.P. bore
Patna High Court CWJC No.2911 of 2016 (4) dt.14-03-2016 rifle for which the application was made in the year 2002 be decided finally within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
This disposes of the writ application.
