JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 18-01-2019 Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304-B, 201, 506, 120-B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner happens to be the mother-in-law of the deceased and the written report of the informant goes to show that demand of dowry was made after one year of solemnisation of marriage. However, the allegation of demand of dowry is general in nature and no specific allegation has been attributed against the petitioner. It is pointed out that the husband of the deceased is in jail custody.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jhanjharpur, District Madhubani, in connection with Ghoghardiha P.S. Case No. 99/2017.
