JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 27-03-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That this is an application for issuance of an appropriate writ order or direction to the respondents to again re-measure the height and chest of the petitioner and if it is found to be more than 162 cm and chest 89 cm then again his PET test for Admission/Appointment on the post of home guard be taken and if he passes the same then he be admitted/appointed as home guard in Daniyawan Block district Patna vacancy as the petitioner was successful in the running test however thereafter his height was wrongly measured and declare to be 160.3 cm and was not allowed to participate in other test and on application for re-measurement before DM Patna

Patna High Court CWJC No.16283 of 2022(2) dt.27-03-2024 2/2 on 9/10-06- 2022 his height and chest was remeasured and was declared to be 161 cm and chest 84.60cm which is highly illegal and discriminatory as the petitioner's height is 162.5 cm and chest 89 cm also declared by the doctor of PHC Shajahapur, Dhaniyawan, Patna."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Respondents authorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The present writ petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
