2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a complaint case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 323, 420, 406, 467, 468, 471, 120B and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per prosecution case, it is alleged that this petitioner, being an agent of the ICICI Bank, misappropriated premium of 19 customers.
4. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is quite innocent and has committed no offence. As a matter of fact, informant is also an
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.63340 of 2025(2) dt.15-09-2025 2/2 agent in the ICICI Bank and having work rivalry with the petitioner, this false and concocted case has been lodged. Petitioner claims clean antecedents.
5. On the other hand, learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and submitted that petitioner is named in the complaint petition with specific accusation that he, being an agent of the ICICI Bank, misappropriated the premium paid by 19 different customers.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and specific and direct nature of accusation, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) shashank/- U T
