The petitioner is in custody since 03.08.2019 in connection with Dumariyaghat P.S. Case No. 155 of 2019 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 272/273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the recovery of 331.65 litres of foreign liquor has been made from the car and not from the conscious possession of the petitioner. In view of the aforementioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above named be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand)

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.57787 of 2019(2) dt.16-09-2019 2/2 with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 9th Additional Sessions Judge cum Special Judge, Excise Act, East Champaran, Motihari, in connection with Dumariyaghat P.S. Case No. 155 of 2019.
