JUSTICE PARTHA SARTHY ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) Date : 30-08-2023 Despite the petitioner being cautioned on the earlier occasion when a writ petition was filed for similar reliefs, the petitioner is once again before this Court relentlessly pursuing his self declared claim for the President's Medal of Gallantry and issuance of integrity certificate. Even at the earlier point of time, the learned Single Judge who considered the issue, as per

Patna High Court L.P.A No.701 of 2021 dt.30-08-2023 2/2 Annexure-18, found that none has a legal right to claim the President's Police Medal for gallantry. We cannot, but point out that it is also in bad taste to affirm one's own integrity and gallantry; which accolade has to come from others. The impugned order dated Annexure-20 has specifically found the petitioner's representation to be not valid and rejected it. The learned Single Judge also refused to interfere with the same. We find there is no scope for judicial review in such matters and that sitting on the judicial side, we cannot direct issuance of integrity certificate or conferment of gallantry awards.

2. We find absolutely no reason to entertain the appeal and dismiss the same.
