2. The petitioners before this Court are the widow of erstwhile Head Master/Assistant Teacher, who died some time in the year 2008 and 2013 respectively from Chaudhary Sanskrit Uchcha Vidyalaya, Chanpura, Madhubani.

3. On being aggrieved with the inaction of the respondents in not extending their legitimate dues, the

Patna High Court CWJC No.13483 of 2024 dt.09-07-2025 2/3 petitioners approached this Court by filing the present writ petition seeking a direction upon the respondents to ensure payment of retiral dues in the form of deductions of Dearness Allowances and the salary deposited in the General Provident Fund account of the erstwhile employees in accordance with "Essential Deposit Plan" along with statutory interest.

4. A counter affidavit came to be filed on behalf of respondent no.5. The facts are admitted that the respondent no.7 has already issued letter (Annexure-P/2) directing all the District Education Officers and District Programme Officers (Establishment) to make available the status report with regard to payment in the light of letter no.1094 dated 24.12.2020.

5. Learned Advocate for the petitioners contended that various writ petitions came to be filed before this Court and the same have already been disposed off with a liberty to the petitioners to approach before the District Education Officer for redressal of their grievances by filing appropriate representation.

6. Considering the limited grievance of the petitioners and the submissions set forth, this Court deems it apt and proper to dispose off the writ petition with a liberty to the petitioners to file a fresh representation before the District Education Officer, Madhubani preferably within a period of four

7. In case, such a representation is filed, the concerned respondents shall examine the individual claim of the petitioners in the light of the judgment/order relied by the petitioners and ensure payment of all admissible dues along with statutory interest, within a further period of eight weeks.

8. The writ petition stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction.
