2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for offence punishable under Sections 25(1-B)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.
3. The case of the prosecution, in short, is that informant received some information from S.H.O. Dhanarua that firing is going on at Balapar between two groups. For verification, when the informant arrived at the place of occurrence, one loaded rifle and one .315 bore cartridge was recovered from the Mustard crop field of Sanjay Singh.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is quite innocent and has committed no offence. The
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62024 of 2025(2) dt.11-09-2025 2/2 petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. and his name transpired during the course of investigation. No arms and ammunition were recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits that during investigation, it has come that this petitioner took rifle from the hand of co-accused Pramod Kumar and thereafter made indiscriminate firing. On seeing the police, he fled away from the place of occurrence after throwing the rifle in the field of Sanjay Singh. Petitioner has got one antecedent of similar nature.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioner is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) K.C.Jha/- U T
