Mr. Anisur Haque, AC to AAG5 ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR and HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ANJANI KUMAR SHARAN ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR) Date : 22-02-2022 Heard Mr. Manish Kumar No.2, learned Advocate for the petitioner and Mr. Anisur Haque for the State.

The licence of the petitioner has been cancelled. An appeal had been preferred by the petitioner against the aforesaid order of cancellation in the year 2019, which is still awaiting final determination.

We can only observe that it is shocking.

The appeal ought to have been disposed of much before.

Patna High Court CWJC No.21297 of 2021 dt.22-02-2022 2/2 Mr. Manish Kumar No.2, however, submits that even the order of cancellation is bad as it does not advert to any one of the grounds taken in defence of the petitioner against the charges which were foisted against him.

Be that as it may, since an appeal has already been preferred by the petitioner which has yet not been decided, we direct the appellate authority to decide and dispose of the appeal positively within a period of sixty days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. Any further delay in the matter would lead to adverse inference against the concerned appellate authority.

The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. (Ashutosh Kumar, J.) (Anjani Kumar Sharan, J.) Sanjay/- AFR/NAFR NAFR CAV DATE NA Uploading Date 24.02.2022 Transmission Date
