2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the respondent-State has submitted that since the appeal, filed by the petitioner has already stood rejected by an order dated 20.06.2023, the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous, hence the present writ petition be disposed off.

3. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands dismissed.
