The present petition was filed with a prayer to initiate contempt proceeding against opposite parties on an allegation of willful disobedience to an order dated 23.9.2015 passed in CWJC No. 23051 of 2011. By the said order the writ petition was allowed with a direction to make payment. The writ petition was filed for the purposes of claiming arrear of rent.
In this case show cause and supplementary show cause have been filed on behalf of the opposite party no. 2 wherein a specific stand has been taken that total amount of twenty seven lakh and odd has already been paid immediately after receipt of
Patna High Court MJC No.754 of 2016 (6) dt.08-02-2017 2/2 the fund. On perusal of the material on record the court is satisfied that the order of the writ court has already been complied with. Accordingly, there is no reason to further proceed with the matter.
The petition stands disposed of.
