2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Hisua P.S. Case No. 720 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 54, 85, 103(1), 61(2)(a) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 3⁄4 of the DP Act.

3. The allegation against the petitioner, who is the husband of the deceased, is of demanding dowry, torturing and killing the deceased.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. Petitioner is in custody since 05.01.2025 and claims clean

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State as well as the learned counsel for the informant have vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the allegation levelled against the petitioner and the materials available in the case diary, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail stands rejected. If the trial is delayed by the prosecution, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
