JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 21-09-2024 The limited prayer of the petitioner in the present writ petition is to direct the District Magistrate, Jehanabad, to dispose off the pending application of the petitioner, filed for grant of arms license in the year, 2018.

Per contra, the learned counsel for the Respondent-State submits that in case, the petitioner has filed an application for grant of arms license and the same is still pending, it shall be disposed off, within a fixed time frame.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Magistrate,

Patna High Court CWJC No.13983 of 2024(2) dt.21-09-2024 2/2 Jehanabad, to dispose off the aforesaid application, filed by the petitioner, for grant of arms license, in case the same has actually be filed and is still pending consideration, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt / production of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
