2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Laukahi P.S. Case No. 270/2021, lodged on 29.11.2021 under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 307, 354, 379, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the FIR has been lodged against 8 named accused persons, including the petitioner alleging therein that they were involved in the campaign of Mukhiya election due to which abusive language started between the candidates of both the parties and firing took place. It has been alleged that the petitioner opened fire causing injury on the right leg of the husband of the informant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.64182 of 2023(3) dt.20-12-2023 2/2 petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. The dispute occurred during the election process. For the same occurrence, there is a case and counter case Laukahi P.S. Case No. 271/2021 lodged by the wife of the petitioner. He further submits that the antecedent of the petitioner is clean and he is in custody since 04.08.2023.

5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, let the petitioner above named, be granted bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned ACJM-I, Jhanjharpur (Madhubani) in connection with Laukahi P.S. Case No. 270/2021, subject to the conditions as laid down U/s 437(3) Cr.P.C.
