The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Barahara P.S. Case No.248 of 2017 registered under Section 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The police got information that the petitioner had kept liquor in his thatch house and on such, raided the aforesaid thatch house and recovered 14 litres of Royal Whisckey kept in 18 bottles each containing 180 ml.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, for the first time, has been implicated in the case registered under the Excise Act. The liquor was recovered from the thatch house and somebody might have kept the same. The petitioner had no knowledge about the liquor kept in his

Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner, the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.D.J. 4th, Bhojpur at Ara in connection with Barahara P.S. Case No.248 of 2017, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
