KUMAR ORAL ORDER 13-07-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in Babubarhi P.S. Case no. 180 of 2016 (G.R. No. 2292 of 2016) for the offences registered under Sections 409, 419 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.
Petitioner is a Panchayat Secretary. He is not named in the F.I.R. Mukhiya, who was named in the FIR, has been granted anticipatory bail vide Annexure-3. In the order (Annexure3) it has been stated that the Panchayat Secretary has already deposited the amount for which allegation of defalcation was made. Thereafter, Mukhiya was granted anticipatory bail.
