The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Khodawandpur P.S. Case No.228 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 272, 273, 120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 30(a) and 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018. 3.
There is recovery of about 1649 litres of foreign liquor from a truck and the house of the petitioner. 4.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 02.08.2023. He further submits that petitioner is ready to donate Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) in some charitable organization

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.D.J.-II-cum-Special Excise Court, Begusarai, in connection with Khodawandpur P.S. Case No. 228 of 2023. 6.
This is also subject to the condition that the petitioner shall deposit an amount of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) in Ramkrishna Mission Ashrama, Patna and produce the receipt of the same before the Court below. The bail bonds of the petitioner shall be accepted after verifying the genuineness of the receipt produced by the petitioner.
