2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 61(2), 111(3), 111(7), 310(2), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 317(3), 317(4), 317(5) and 3(5) of the B.N.S..

3. As per prosecution case, it is alleged that this petitioner purchased the stolen Scorpio vehicle.

4. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is quite innocent and has committed no offence. Petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. and has falsely been implicated in this case merely on suspicion. The stolen vehicle was not recovered from possession of this petitioner.

5. On the other hand, learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and submitted that name of petitioner transpired in this case during course of investigation and this petitioner bought the stolen car.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, nature of accusation and materials that have surfaced during course of investigation, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) shashank/- U T
