This application is for grant of regular bail in connection with Jandaha P.S.Case No.310 of 2018 for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 302, 307, 326 and 384 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. As per the FIR, miscreants dragged the deceased Rishikesh Jha out of the house and they have shot fire five bullets in the chest causing his death and when the informant went to see, he was also shot. Petitioner is not named in the FIR but later on his name transpired during the investigation. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that except the confessional statement of the coaccused, there is nothing against him. He is in custody since 11.6.2019.

Heard learned A.P.P. , who has opposed the prayer for bail stating that the petitioner is accused in one more case of the similar nature and part from that one witness has named the petitioner and other accused persons.
Having heard both sides and considering the above, at this stage, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner , however, once the charge is framed, petitioner is at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.
Accordingly, this application is dismissed.
