The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offence under Section 307 & other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, on 21.05.2020, when the informant was returning home and reached near four-lane road, petitioners and one co-accused surrounded him and threatened to compromise the case, otherwise he would be killed. It is further alleged that in the meantime, these two petitioners caught the informant and co-accused Rabindra Ram caused injury on the left side of his neck and thereafter, all fled away. Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.72597 of 2021(2) dt.21-07-2022 2/2 allegation of assault is against co-accused Rabindra Ram. So far as petitioners are concerned, they are only alleged to have caught the informant. As per injury report, no grievous injury has been caused to the informant.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.

Considering the nature of accusation, let the above named petitioners, in the event of their arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M. Saran at Chapra in connection with Dighwara P.S. Case No. 138 of 2020, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) anay/- U T
