This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Laheriasarai Police Station Case No. 20 of 2014, disclosing offences under Sections 406, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that there is general and omnibus allegation against this petitioner and no specific overt act is attributed to him. In fact, occurrence is of 08.10.2013 whereas a complaint has been filed on 24.10.2013 after lapses of sixteen days without explaining the plausible delay. Moreover, the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Hence, the petitioner, who is aged about 70 years,
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.30964 of 2018 (2) dt.04-06-2018 deserves the privilege of anticipatory bail. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Darbhanga, in connection with Laheriasarai Police Station Case No. 20 of 2014, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
