The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Manjhi P.S. Case No. 21 of 2019 for offences under Sections 341, 323,498A, 504, 506, 34 IPC and 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

It appears that the matter was earlier referred to the Mediation Centre of the Patna High Court but the mediation failed.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to keep his wife but the wife is not inclined to stay with the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Let the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the ACJM-2, Saran in connection with Manjhi P.S. Case No. 21 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr. P. C.

After release of the petitioner, the Court below shall once again refer the matter to the District Mediation Centre so that the dispute between husband and wife is amicably settled. (Anil Kumar Upadhyay, J) spandey/- U T
