The sole petitioner , apprehending his arrest in Kundwa Chainpur P.S. Case No. 50 of 2016 , registered for the offence under Section 272, 273 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 47 and 54 of the Bihar Excise Act , 2016 has prayed for grant of bail in the event of arrest or surrender . It was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner has been made accused only on the accusation that his vehicle was found carrying Indian make foreign liquor. He submits that save and except the fact that petitioner is the registered owner of the vehicle, there is no material to connect the

Considering the nature of accusation, in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of six weeks from today, let the petitioner Ratan Shankar @ Rajan Shankar be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand ) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Sikarhana, East Champaran / concerned court in connection with Kundwa Chainpur P.S. Case No. 50 of 2016 subject to the conditions as contemplated under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973.
