The petitioner seeks bail in Baikunthpur P.S. case No. 184/2019 registered under Section 376/511 of the IPC and u/s 4/8 of the POCSO Act.

The informant alleged that petitioner rolled on the body of his daughter and tried to outrage her modesty. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is close agnate of the informant. The victim happens to be cousin of the petitioner. The only allegation against the petitioner is that he tried to outrage the modesty of the daughter of the informant.

Taking into consideration the facts that petitioner happens to be cousin of the victim and petitioner is in jail for last four months, the petitioner, above named is directed to be

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.57522 of 2019(3) dt.20-11-2019 2/2 enlarged on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge- I, Gopalganj in connection with Baikunthpur P.S. case No. 184/2019.
